Finch storms into the headquarters of his airship and throws his sword against the wall in a fit of rage “that little…” he groan in annoyance “I can’t believe he tricked us like that!”
Gordon approaches and brings a hand to his shoulder “sir, I was able to acquire ripped clothing from that woman, we can use the wolves to search for them” Gordon suggests and Finch nods with determination, dashing to the steering wheel and aggressively steering at it to make the airship tilt and head for the ground.
All the elves yell out in shock as they ship tilting causes them to fly from one side of the room to the other.
They make it to the ground with a massive thud. Finch runs to the edge of the dock, jumps out and grabs the rope that gently propels him to the ground, a group of about 10 to 15 elves and Gordon circle around him.
“Men!” Finch calls out “we will NOT rest until we find that elf and his friends! Even if it takes us all night” he announces “once you do, bring him and that girl he was with, back!” He orders, throwing the ripped piece of clothing to the elves, who immediately give it to the wolves to sniff and disappear into the forest.
“Ugh! I was getting close to discovering his secrets!” Finch yells out in frustration. The pack of wolves lead the way through the forest, Gordon and Finch follow them with absolute trust.
“there’s something about him that just…intrigues me” Finch complains while Gordon fiddles with the gun.
“there’s a blue stone inside this gun, what do you think it does?” Gordon asks, distracted with the weapon. Suddenly he tris and drops the weird looking gun which goes off and a blue light comes out, hitting one of the wolves who whines in pain and energy starts draining out of them, their vessels becoming almost black.
“What did you just do?” Finch yells when something catches his eye. The grass and flowers surrounding the dying animal have now rotted and turned into ash.
