(Chapter 26)
His blood is everywhere. He's on my kitchen floor. Pale. He's in my outfit. Dark reddish purple. He's on my skin. His limbs are in small garbage bags. We're closer than ever. This is perfect. I douse his limbs in bleach in hopes to hide the smell from my neighbors. I left my apartment and started walking to the main dumpster at the end of the street. Thankfully the light's power went off again and no one dared to come out. Halfway down, my back started to hurt even more and the smell of bleach started to hurt my nose more and more. The thought of how his hands felt so good around my shoulders and his weird smell of cologne overpowers my nose. I can hear his voice when he wakes me up for breakfast. The way he was so soft and rough during our intimacy. Now, no one can deny my need for a moment's pleasure. He won't hurt me or our company's image, a woman's image. I'm….free? From what? I put his body in the garbage for what? I went back to my house covered in him for what?
I spoke for the first since I could remember "I ruined me. For nothing."
