(Chapter 1)
I never wanted this to happen. I was supposed to be a good, noble woman with the highest position at W&GO. My hard work paid off regardless, I just have to make sure no one knows. I lost my last strand of innocence with him. These thoughts ran through my head to the point that Ibuprofen couldn't cure my headache. I can’t shower without him. I can’t sleep without him. I can’t go to work without thinking about him. I can’t look at my bright yellow blouse that is covered in beautiful stitched flowers that reminds me of my grandmother. My favorite pencil skirt that used to show my high class and professionalism, which was always demanded by my mother. My shoes…the ones I bought to help me rise up for the women who needed it. Nothing about that outfit is a part of me anymore, it's all bathed in his scent, no matter what I do. I tried to wash it, shred it, and throw it in the trash. Everything goes back to him. To my career. To my house. Everything here is his world now. I wanted to stop but I couldn’t. I’m just a woman. I’m useless on my own. I thought he would be gone. I could do justice for them. I could be a hero. I could finally live in peace.
But I can’t.
