The sound of crackling fire, dripping rain, and groans of pain filled the air.
Aarav slowly opened his eyes. His head throbbed. Blood trickled from a cut above his eyebrow. He was lying on wet grass. The smell of smoke and burning metal surrounded him.
The plane had crash-landed in a dense jungle.
The tail of the plane had broken off. One wing was missing. Baggage and debris were scattered everywhere.
Miraculously, some passengers were alive.
Zoya was stuck under a broken seat, her phone still recording. She whispered, "Help… someone…"
A group of five survivors managed to crawl out - Aarav, Zoya, a college student named Kabir, a nurse named Meena, and Mrs. Batra, who had fainted but was breathing.
Captain Aryan was badly injured but alive. He had steered the plane away from mountains to save as many as possible.
But they were deep in the jungle - no signal, no food, no map.
Aarav looked up at the cloudy sky and whispered, "Where are we?"
Zoya replied, "I think we survived… but what now?"
Suddenly, a distant animal growl echoed through the trees.
