Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the day You placed her in my arms,
and for every day since You have kept her here.
Thank You for covering her when I could not,
for guiding my steps when the road was long,
and for surrounding her with Your angels
when darkness tried to claim her.
Lord, I ask that You heal every wound,
seen and unseen,
and fill her heart with a peace
that no one can take away.
Order her steps,
protect her mind,
and let her life be a living testimony
of Your mercy and power.
And when she forgets how strong she is,
remind her she is the daughter
of a God who never loses,
and the child of a mama
who will always stand in the gap.
