They thought they could break her,
steal her light,
hide her from the morning.
But they didn't know -
a mother's love
is a storm that doesn't pass,
a fire that doesn't burn out,
a river that carves through stone.
I chased her shadow
across deserts and mountains,
through fear and sleepless nights,
because my arms were the home
she was meant to return to.
Now she stands,
a warrior wrapped in grace,
and when I see her smile,
I know -
God never let go.
