Andrew is excited, today is Saturday, it's the day of his birthday party. His party was being held at his large family home. Andrew is helping his mother in the kitchen baking cupcakes. His mother looks across at him proudly from the cooker as she places the cupcakes into the oven, she says softly, "you have done well helping me with the cupcakes. Are you nervous about the children coming?" Andrew replies, "I am nervous, I hope they come. Our special guest is coming. " Andrew's mother gives him a warm hug and replies," I hope they do too. Your cousins will be here shortly, and Nan and grandad." Andrew smiles and replies, "I hope we have made enough cupcakes." Andrews mother chuckles and replies, "you already ate two from the first lot of cupcakes we baked, if you keep eating them you wont have enough to go around. You will turn into a cupcake." Andrew giggles and says, "you are silly mum, I cant turn into a cupcake." Andrew's father overhears from the hallway, he comes running into the kitchen laughing and says, "my son a cupcake, yum, yum, I am hungry." He picks Andrew up places him over his shoulder and jokingly pretends to eat him. "Yum, yum, tasty cupcake." his dad chuckles. Andrew laughs hysterically while calling out, "dad, put me down I'm not a cupcake." His dad places him back down onto the ground and replies, "son, you may not be one, I am looking forward to the ones you have baked, they smell delicious." Andrew's father walks over to the cupcakes that's cooling down on a plate and reaches out to pick one up. Andrew's mother reaches over and taps his hand gently as she calls out, "no eating the cupcakes before the guests arrive." Andrew's father takes away his hand and gives a cheeky grin.
