You're hiking through a quiet forest just before dawn. The trees are tall and mist clings to the undergrowth. You turn a corner… and there, in a clearing lit by the first rays of sunlight, is an old, moss-covered piano. It's perfectly intact, keys slightly worn. On top of it rests a handwritten note:
"Play, and the forest will listen."
Do you play it?
Or do you keep walking?
..I turn back. Its creepy!..
As you turn back, the air feels a little colder - like the forest noticed your decision.
Your footsteps crunch softly on the damp leaves, but then… you hear it. A single piano note, faint and distant, echoing through the trees behind you.
You didn't play it.
You don't look back - but now the trail feels unfamiliar. Twisted. Was that fallen tree there before?
Being brave… or possibly enchanted.
You grip a long branch - your makeshift staff - and begin to move. The music behind you grows richer, like an unseen pianist responds to your rhythm. The forest, once eerie, begins to shimmer faintly with scattered motes of light drifting between the trees. Your movements awaken something old and watching.
As you spin, your stick taps the ground - and the earth beneath your feet pulses faintly. A hidden pattern, etched into the forest floor in ancient symbols, begins to glow beneath your steps.
The piano plays louder now, almost jubilant. Then -
A voice, calm but echoing, speaks from the trees:
"Dancer of the path not taken… what do you seek?"
What do you say?
1. "A way home."
2. "Truth."
3. "Power."
4. "Nothing. I'm just vibing."
Or something else entirely?
