Once I entered the adulthood, I regretted ever wanting to grow up but nothing can take me back or could there be?
"Where I am" I woke up in a tiny bed, I scanned the room my eyes drifting from one toy to the others scattered on the wooden marble floor. I snapped out of the bed, I was putting on a tiny pyjamas, and why I'm I so short almost like I lost height over night, I scan the room for a mirror then I sighted it at the far end corner of the room, slowly I approached it, fearing for the worst. I know I had always wished for this but hell No, not back to this hell of a dungeon. I startled at the image in front of me, I was back to when I was 7. I know you'll wonder why a seven year old still plays with toys, yes, when I was little my house was the last place I wanted to live in, and my toys when my companions I lived like an outcast in my own home untill I was eighteen, did I successfully run off with my then boyfriend who two years later threw me out. "Karma, maybe you could have choose another home to punish me? I got out of my pyjamas, walked into the shower after that I grabbed a pair of up and down outfit and put on that was me looking my worst. Today was Rachel home welcome celebration, last year's December was when I find out about my twin who was stolen in hospital but my happiness became my worst nightmare, Rachel felt I had enjoyed enough so it's was her turn but she wanted me out of the picture forever. Let me brief you on how we met on December.
It's was 25 December, the excitement was free in the air. Families singing and gifting their love ones. My parents bought me so many gift almost all the toys I had ever admired, we made a little dessert for the neighborhood. In the even around 4pm, that's when I always called the real enjoyment, we will go to parks then go for skating but today my dad insisted we go for skating first before the park. It's was still fun no much feelings of change. My parents sat at the bench while I played with other children in the field throwing snows at each other, it's was getting dark when I heard my mum called out to me "ana, baby it time to go" I turned briefly because I was getting tired too but I saw my mum walking away with another little girl waving at my dad. I ran towards them grabbing my mum's hand, she was shocked at the resemblance between me and the strange girl, I was shocked as well but she had a tiny birth mark on her neck which seemed similar to the one on my mum's back. I never had any birth mark. I saw my mother's eyes lit up tears forming as my dad walked over and was hit with the same shock wave "which of you is Anabel" the first word he uttered, I wrapped my tiny cold hands around his wrist, he smile at the strange girl "what's your name angel?" My hand still wrapped around his "where are your parents?" She gave him a tiny smile her dimple appeared and that was the one that broke the Carmel's back, my mum's started crying profusely, even attempted to run with this girl, she kept calling her "my little angel".
After that day, my family did a DNA test with the hair of the girl my mum had secretly pluck and it turned out she's truly my twin sister, I was very happy that at last someone to called my siblings was here, so my parents fought so hard to claim her and luck was on our side we won but I can't called it luck anymore because on the day of her welcome home celebration that was when my nightmare started, I wished we never went to the park on that day.
