TANA pov
The morning was so cold, I covered myself so tight, my head hurts and i can certainly feel some pains all over my body. "Tik tok, Tik tok", oh, not again, i shouted as i heard the alarm ringing. Another day with lots of work. I Lazily got up from the bed and fell back, oh i think am sick, i miss my mum, i said to myself. My mum would probably prepare a hot bath for me every morning, and before I would have finished with my bath, i would have a hot tea waiting for me on the dining table. You know you are an angel and i will always treat you like one, my mum would say this to me every morning. Tears rolled down my eyes as I remembered the past, the death of my mum was the most painful thing that has ever happened to me, she was my best friend and my everything. Ever since her death, i was forced to go look for a job, so i can save up and continue my education in the college. My mum worked in a company that never bothers her, she never complained of any stress at all to me, she took care of me, herself, and our bills with no complains, but ever since i started my job as a cleaner in mr. Eddie's house, i feel stressed. I never knew the world would be so painful till now. I cleaned my tears with the back of my hands and headed to the bathroom to get ready for work.
Hey Tana, come over here, Miss Laura shouted, as i was about to walk into the main building to start my daily cleaning at work. Miss Laura is the only daughter to Mr Eddie, she is about 18 years old, but has no respect for anyone. She has a dyed pink hair with a brown eyes. She has this dream of becoming a fashionista, so she dresses like one, even when she is at home, she loves makeup and can never move around without one, have never seen her with her natural face ever since I started working for her father.
Good morning miss Laura, i said as i moved closer to where she was sitting, beside the garden with a catalogue at her right hand and a cup of wine at her left. Take this, keep it right beside my bed, clean my room up, arrange my bed neatly, and make sure you don't look at my mirror. She said handing the catalogue over to me. Okay miss Laura. I said and made my way to the main building. Wait! why does she always tell me not to look at her mirror? what is so special about her mirror? I asked myself as i made my way upstairs. There are two rooms in the last flat, that is for mr. Eddie and his late wife. Mr. Eddie is a strict business man in his late 30's, who got married so early and also lost his wife early after the birth of their child. I have been working for him for the past two years after my mother's death. He has his personal cleaner Ken who is about my age. I have the work of cleaning miss Laura's room and all the interior part of the house, while Ken has the work of cleaning Mr Eddie's room and all the exterior part of the house. The second floor also contains two rooms, the first room is miss Laura's room while the second room is an empty room, apparently, i use there as my resting and changing room.
I slowly walked into Miss Laura's room, this girl is a very dirty and annoying girl, i said to myself as i shoot the door behind me. Her bed is in the middle of the room, the right side of the room is her big makeup table mirror with her make up kits scattered everywhere on the table. I'm always afraid to look at the mirror anyways, because that girl acts like a witch, i would always act like there was no mirror there whenever i go closer to arrange her make up kits. By the left side of the room is her big closet, and the door leading to her bathroom. That girl has lots of clothes and shoes which i always arrange neatly for her, but each day i come into her room, everywhere will be filled with scattered clothes and shoes. If she was to be my little sister, i would always punch her hands.
