Following an anonymous tip-off citing "concern for welfare," police forcibly entered a second-storey flat in Largs on the morning of Sunday, February 5th. They found Craig Moir deceased in bed.

Within 48 hours, all digital devices in the flat — including three laptops, a burner phone, and multiple external drives — were seized, logged, and then destroyed under standard non-kin disposal protocol.

Hemel Hempstead Blackmail Case: Police Confirm No New Leads
Hertfordshire Police have confirmed that the investigation into last month’s high-profile blackmail campaign in Hemel Hempstead has “reached the limits of current inquiry.”
The case, which saw anonymous emails sent to dozens of local residents demanding Bitcoin payments in exchange for silence on alleged personal matters, drew national attention after four suicides were linked to recipients of the messages.
Despite extensive digital forensic work, authorities have been unable to trace the origin of the emails.
“There is no indication that any classified databases were accessed or leaked,” a spokesperson from the National Crime Agency said. “We believe the data may have been sourced through a combination of local surveillance, social media, and compromised CCTV systems. However, no definitive link has been established.”
Investigations by MI5 and internal civil service departments have concluded with no formal comment.
The case remains open but inactive.
