High above the land, resting on a hill wrapped in soft clouds, stood the grand Castle of Turandia.
The towers reached the sky, and its golden flags danced in the wind. Inside the castle lived two royal children.
Princess Aylania was six years old. She was gentle and kind, with a special gift: she could heal small wounds and help plants grow. But if she used too much magic, she would feel very tired.
Her older brother, Prince Sabian, was eight. He was bold and quick, always climbing towers and racing the wind. His gift was special too - he could talk to animals.
One bright morning, Aylania and Sabian stood by the tallest window in the castle. They could see all of Turandia from there - shining seas to the east, snowy mountains to the north, the wild green rainforest to the west, and peaceful farms to the south.
Suddenly, Sabian leaned forward.
"Ayla, look!"
he said.
"The crops! They're turning brown."
Aylania's eyes widened.
"Oh no… the plants look sick. If they don't grow, the people won't have enough food."
Sabian's voice grew firm.
"We can't just stand here. We have to help."
The two siblings ran down the tower steps, through the castle gates, and down the hill to the farm.
The fields were quiet. Plants drooped sadly in the sun. The soil was dry and cracked.
Aylania knelt beside a wilted plant.
"I'll try to help."
She closed her eyes and gently touched a leaf.
A soft glow appeared at her fingertips. The leaf brightened, just a little.
Sabian looked around.
A small bird fluttered nearby.
"Hello, friend,"
he whispered.
"Do you know what's going on?"
The bird chirped in a worried tone.
Sabian listened closely.
"The river is low,"
he translated to Aylania.
"Without water, the soil is too dry for the plants to grow."
Aylania stood up slowly.
"Then we need to fix the water. But… how?"
Sabian thought for a moment.
"Let's follow the river. Maybe we can find where it's blocked."
Aylania felt nervous. Her legs trembled a little.
"What if we get lost?"
Sabian reached out and took her hand.
"We'll go together. You don't have to be afraid when we work as a team."
Aylania smiled, even though her heart still fluttered.
"Okay. Let's do it."
Before leaving, she knelt again and whispered to the plants,
"Hold on just a bit longer."
Hand in hand, the two siblings began to follow the dry riverbed toward the edge of the forest.
The sun warmed their backs.
Birds flew above them.
A new adventure was calling - and they were ready.
Because even though they were young, Princess Aylania and Prince Sabian knew that caring for their kingdom was part of their growing hearts.
