To Tame the calm in my storms
To Anurag, the mirror that showed her the worth
And to you dear all the readers
may you can related or lose youreslf in these coming up lines
only to find the peace of your soul coming up at the end.....
Archita was not just any student in Class 10 of Mercy Memorial School - she was the prefect. Always in her neatly ironed uniform, badge shining, hair tied back perfectly, and books arranged . Teachers loved her, juniors admired her, and friends respected her.
But… there was one thing about her that only she knew. Hidden behind her perfect smile and confident walk was a soft corner - no, a whole palace in her heart - for Anurag.
Anurag was the kind of boy who could make the whole class laugh without even trying. He wasn't the topper, he wasn't the sports captain, but he had that casual charm. Archita admired him silently - the way he spoke to teachers with respect, the way he helped classmates with homework, the way he tied his shoelaces without bending his knees (which, for some reason, she found adorable).
Every morning, she would enter class, pretending she was there for her duty… but her eyes always searched for that one seat - the one where Anurag sat.
(Dil ke safe mein ek raaz rakha hai,
Us raaz ka ek hi tajurba hai,
Us raaz ka naam hai "Anurag",
Jo sirf aankhon se padhta hai, likhta nhi.)
One day, during a free period, her best friend teased, "Archita, you keep staring at Anurag like he's a question paper and you're finding the answer."
She blushed and waved it off. "Bas aise hi… he's just… nice."
But Archita knew the truth. She didn't just like him. She admired him. Every little thing about him was written on the pages of her diary - the diary she kept locked in her drawer.
However, fate can be cruel.
One afternoon, while distributing some worksheets, Archita overheard Anurag talking to a friend.
"Archita? Arre, she's nice, yaar… but she's like a sister to me. She's always helping everyone, very sweet, but… I've never thought about her like that."
Those words hit her like an unexpected cold wind in a month of July. A sister? That's all?
(Kuch kahaniyaan mohabbat ki poori nahi hoti,
Kuch muskaan sirf dosti mein hoti,
Aur kuch log…
Bas dil ke kone mein reh jaate hain,
Bina jaan paaye, ki kisi ka dil sirf unka hota hai.)

That evening, she sat in her room, diary open, pen in hand, but no words came. Only tears fell on the page where she had once written "Archita ❤️ Anurag" in small letters.
She didn't hate him. How could she? Love doesn't always need to be returned to be real. She decided she would still admire him, still smile at him in the corridors, still be that perfect prefect - but now, with the strength of someone who loves silently.
(Mohabbat ka matlab sirf paana nahi hota,
Kabhi kabhi door se dekhna bhi kaafi hota hai,
Woh khush rahe… yeh dua hum karte hain,
Chahe woh dua mein humara naam kabhi na aaye.)
And so, Archita closed her diary, took a deep breath, and prepared for another day - a day where she would walk into class, see Anurag smile, and know… some stories are beautiful even if they never become love stories.
"If you want, I can also make a Part 2 where something unexpected happens and their bond changes."
