- Streets flooded with chaos.
-Spade soldier captains quarrel at their sudden loss of men
- Fights break out at every captured territory
- Spade soldiers fall steadily because of an invisible threat.
A man partially appears from being invisible holding a dagger and mutters as he walks away:
"it's about time we started working for real"
- THE OBSIDIAN HQ
Sylven, a cold and feared assassin, stands before his allies Kael & Vael(Twins), Sullyn, and Genro, The top assassins raised by The Obsidian, now its current rulers, that trains selected soldiers in the art of assassination.
A meeting is held by the strongest faction in this organization: The Veil
"Peace requires removal of weakness and oppression. We will erase every foreign stain and remind the people what truly built this kingdom and what alone can save it and return the kingdom to its roots" says Sylven, their leader.
-In a DIAMOND CITY - RUINS - at NIGHT
Mars with Marielle at his side; cloaked, steps from the shadows as they watch a spade enemy camp get defeated by the twins(Kael and Vael) and Genro
MARIELLE
"Once, the Obsidian was the Country's power. They said only permanent removal of all threats alone could shape our kingdom but what happened behind the scenes was not Just, the children they used, the lives taken, it was peace built on too much blood and sacrifice so the king ruled towards their downfall - Because the mad scientist Morris brainwashed him and soon after made his own sick idea of power and took control over the military…because he's gone and now, it's certain, the Obsidian wishes to rise again."
MARS (slightly pissed)
Then we'll stop them. We can't afford to repeat history, we have to move forward with Morris out of the picture, then we can finally make this kingdom truly peaceful.
-Prison overthrown by Spade soldiers - at day break
Langris lays awake, trying to find a way to break his binding and suddenly they break but how? Suddenly, a blast rocks the prison. Ice emerges, He sees two assassins executing Spade soldiers, including the one who binds prisoners - Mars later intervenes, and starts a brief fight with these two who are revealed to be Ice Assassin Sylven and Acid magic Sullyn. Mars tries to convince them not to bring back the assassin regime arguing "its not just and ideal we should recreate this country anew" but Sylven disagrees and tells him that "this regime will guarantee the kingdom's peace and he's going the eliminate any threat to this cause, starting with you"
Mars is upset that he cannot get through to them, attacks him but is overwhelmed by their combo with ice magic and acid magic
Sylven launches a hidden ice eruption attack to finish Mars.
LANGRIS (yells)
"Watch out, you fool"
Spatial magic erases it, saving Mars. They retreat and Langris tells him he has witnessed everything and laughs at the fact he came to try and stop them alone.
MARS
"You're from Clover… that emblem, the Golden Dawn squad
(laughs)
This must be fate, Then perhaps… we must fight together" he says as they retreat.
At Mars's hideout, We meet Fana, Ladros, Fanzell and his wife. We learn of when they returned back to diamond from the witches forest to help Mars overthrow Morris but they only managed to capture the sickly king.
The king, a middle aged sick man, who is deeply saddened by the fact Morris used him to hurt so many lives, the lives who ended up saving him in the end. Mars decided not to use the puppet's blood on the king because that would make him no better than Morris and shelters the king to show him the revival of the kingdom until his last breath.
The Team soon after lays out a plan to attack The Obsidian's base of operations to shut it down for good as they are the new and last threat to their plans.
