One rainy night, Aadhya was laying and reading novels on her bed , she was feeling drowsy as it was well past midnight. She closed the novel and went to sleep.

Just as she was about to fall in deep sleep she heard the sounds of boots heading towards her bed. She creaked an eye open and seeing that no one was coming she quickly shut her eyes tightly. The sounds the boots abruptly came to a halt near her head ,she felt as if someone was staring at her.

After a while she heard a voice calling out her pet name ,"Aaaarrrruuuu...".

She became very anxious as there was no one except her at the house and she had locked all doors and windows before heading to bed. she suddenly remembered what her friend once told her, that according to a legend of anyone responds to the voices or whispers calling them they would be dragged away never to be found.

After remembering that she didn't dare to move or even open her eyes , she lay unmoving while chanting prayers in her head and fell asleep.

Next day she was relieved to come out of the whole ordeal unscathed.
