After finishing his duty, Vaikuntha returned to Bansa.
Now he was relaxed. He would start duty again tomorrow at two in the afternoon.
Eating. Packing. Making his bed, it was twelve o'clock at night. Now he turned off the light and went to bed.
Railway quarters. It was never completely quiet. Although there were no long-distance trains on this route, long freight trains occasionally ran at night.
He had been working for many days, so he had become accustomed to everything.
But he was new here. He had just transferred here today.
He had barely fallen into a light sleep. Suddenly, the sound of a train reached his ears!
It was whistling loudly and was rushing towards him like the wind! In a moment, it was shaking his house to the core! It felt like he was jumping on the bed!
In the meantime, he heard a woman's voice cry! It was as if someone had pushed him off the moving train!
Vaikuntha was not used to this at all. He was a soft-hearted person. Hearing the cry of a woman's voice, he could no longer lie still.
He got up from the bed with a jerk, took the big torch in his hand and opened the door and went outside.
He lit the torch and searched the four sides of the railway track carefully. He could not see anything anywhere.
He was surprised! He put his hand on the railway track and saw that it was absolutely cold! If the train had just left, the track would not be so cold! So?
He looked around and saw that there was no one anywhere. It was as quiet as a crematorium. Now he felt prickles.
And just at that moment, a light breeze blew. His heart became completely cold.
Now he could not go back to his room from there! His hands and feet were getting cold! He screamed loudly, but he couldn't.
Someone was sitting on his voice box, not letting him shake! Suddenly, he sat down there with a thud.
Everything went dark before his eyes. Just then, he heard the whistle of the train car. It was as if it was rushing towards him. He had to move away from the train line he was sitting on! He tried but couldn't!
Meanwhile, the train was gradually approaching him. He couldn't see anything except a light rushing towards him. He wanted to run away to save himself! He couldn't.
Someone or something was holding him tightly! They weren't letting him move.
It was pitch black all around. The flashlight in his hand had also fallen somewhere. He somehow sat down and found the flashlight with his hands.
Meanwhile, the train was turning on its headlights in front of it and coming towards him with a whistling sound! It felt like it was hitting him.
"Ah??!" Suddenly he screamed! And then his flashlight lit up, aiming at the light! He doesn't remember anything else after that.
When he regained consciousness, he was in bed. Several of his colleagues were standing next to him. They all knew that such things happen at night.
The ghost train runs that way at exactly one in the morning! He lay unconscious on the track and left. He was hit by the morning train.
They saw him by the light of his flashlight and pulled him off the train track. Otherwise, he would have been in the same situation as everyone else. He died!
