The heat was heavy that night. They abandoned shirts, lay stretched across a rooftop in tank tops and shorts, letting the moon bathe them in silver.
Christopher was nervous. His chest was exposed, collarbones prominent, skin pale like a secret he hadn't planned to share.
Benjamin noticed and touched his arm lightly. "You're lovely."
Christopher swallowed. "I've never felt lovely before."
Donny rolled onto his side, tracing a circle on Christopher's shoulder with one gentle finger. "You are. And you're safe."
Benjamin leaned in, brushing his thumb along the curve of Christopher's jaw.
And slowly - delicately - they kissed him.
Not urgently. Just soft explorations. Lips trailing along temple, collarbone, wrist.
Christopher sighed. "This feels... allowed."
Donny lay beside him, head on his chest. "It is. Because you're brave enough to let yourself be known."
Benjamin kissed Christopher's shoulder. "And brave enough to want softness."
They didn't go further than that. But the closeness - the shared breath, the skin against skin - was daring enough.
They lay like that for hours. Moonlight a witness. Heat curling around limbs. Hearts humming in synchrony.
And when Christopher finally slept, his smile lingered.
He had never imagined this kind of love. But now, he was living it.
