I woke up to the birds chirping and a ray of sunlight assaulting my eyes. As I streached rubbed the tirdness from eyes,I pick up on a very distinctive smell that made my eyes widen.
I leap out of my bed and down the stairs only to be meet by that 'thing' from last night standing in front of the stove with a specula in their hand.
"Good morning" It said as it greated me with a bright smile as my pot was actively catching fire.
It was only when whatever It was cooking caught fire that my legs began to move.I shoved past it and reached into my cabinet to throw salt on the fire.
Now I will admit I didn't have to shove 'It' out the way the way I did,But to be fair that thing wouldn't be covering damage expenses.
Hell i doubt It even knew what those were,I whip around to yell at the creature only for it to beam down at me as it flexed its small wings and waved its tail slightly.
I let out a heaviy sight before checking the time on my microwave,It read four thirty.I turn back to the thing and glare up at its sicking enthusiasm.
"Listen,go over there and watch tv,after I'm done getting ready I'll come down and fix you something to eat"
I say as i pointed to the living room that was rearranged and tossed around.the thing nodded and walked to the living room as it hummed a little tune to itself.
"And tidy up the damn living room,you didn't meet it that way so fix it"
I turn my attention back to the stove double checking that I turned it off before heading up stairs.
Once I'm done i walk back down stairs dressed in my work attire, I put my apron on and whip up a quick breakfast.I serve two plates of bacon and eggs with microwave sausages.
"Hey come eat" I say placing its plate on the table across from me.
I hadn't heard any movement and was about to call again only to see it staring down at the food.
If it weren't for its inhuman speed i would have forgot this thing wasn't human.
"So...Kaun"
It head snapped up from it's plate as it. Licked it's fingers of the grease from the sausage.
"When I get back from work I'll help you get a job and a place to stay ok-"
"But I already got a place to stay"
I raise a brow in question,Only for Kaun to just swing side to side in the turning stool.
"Here with you-","no"
"Why?!"
I groan in frustration as i pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Because I don't exactly feel comfortable living with you,and I also don't wanna pay for extra expenses"
Kuan pouted and fiddle with the table cover.
"But i-"
"Listen,I'll try to get you an apartment near by,however you can not under no circumstances come over and cause me issues"
"...so i can come over?"
I Pause and press my lips slightly as I ponder on the question.I sigh as I bite into a piece of sausage and nod,Kaun squirmed happily in their chair and I had to fight back the urge to smile.
When both plates are clean I collect them place them in the sink.I check my watch and I check my purse ensuring i had everything.
"If your hungry use the microwave to warm up something.Do not and I mean under NOT use the stove again"
And with that I left for work,locking the door behind me as I unlocked my car to hear its iconic chirp.
On my way to work I notice strange and unusual things happening.And no it wasn't something odd like noticing the door to a shop was missing,no its more like the whole building was gone.
It was my favorite Chinese food restaurant,and when i eventually made it to work THE FUCKING BUILDING WAS GONE.
"OH WHAT THE FUC-and that's why I'm here"
I had to pull my phone away from my ear as Gloria,my friend,Laughed loudly into the speaker.
"So let me get this straight,last night a fallen angel decided to crash into your house and now your without a job?"
I glare at my stirring wheel as i Listened to her laugh her ass off.
"I'm sorry but it's a little hard to believe"
"You think I would make this shit up?"
She chuckled,
"Nah,I'm pretty sure you lack that kinda imagination"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
I asked slightly offended.
"Nothing,anyway about this,thing,where is it now?"
I sigh as i pushed my hair back with my hand as gripped it to ground myself.
"Home","Like,your house?"
"Yeah"
There was a pause,something that was unusual when me and Gloria talked.
"You want me to-" "no"
Theres another pause,
"You know you can't let that thing stay with you right?","yes"
