How much i admire those guys marketing their products in the streets. I still remember at one point as i was selling sweet potatoes during one of the lockdown. After having a stiff debate on how we were going to survive the heartless covid 19 house arrest with my wife, i had no other option than to find another source of income. It dawned upon my mind that sweet potatoes were the best

How was i going to market my sweet potatoes; that was the only unanswered question. It came to my mind that i had to find a trolley to sell my products. I got one from a close friend which i used to push moving around door to door with my sweet potatoes. "Mbambaira, madima mabura'' that was my new way of letting my customers know about my sweet potatoes as i moved door to door.

"Mbambaira madima mabura", it never came to my mind that i could thrive and sail through the ruthless covid 19 level five lockdown. Some of my friends laughed at me at first but it did not demotivate me at all. I realised that most people always rely on going to work and are not ready to face any change if it doesn't go well with them at work. It was really an economic struggle which was caused by the pandemic.

"You cannot stay the whole day with your wife without quarrelling!!" This was what Mushwedhenene told me just a week after the lockdown. He advised me to commence selling something. However, all roads were not accessible because of the Covid 19 restrictions. Indeed, i realised that it was really very difficult to stay at home with the kids just playing games and watching television without quarrelling.
