The monsters roared and hissed at her, trying to scare her back into submission, but Maya stood her ground. "I am not afraid of you," she said firmly. "You may be scary, but you are not invincible."
The monsters seemed taken aback by Maya's bravery. They had expected her to cower in fear, but instead, she was standing up to them. They hesitated, unsure of what to do next.
Taking advantage of the monsters' confusion, Maya stepped closer to them. "I know what you are," she said. "You're my fears and insecurities masquerading as creatures. But I won't let you control me anymore."
The monsters' eyes widened in surprise. They had never faced such a brave and determined opponent before. They began to shrink back, as if Maya's words were slowly sapping away their power.
