I always thought I would live a peaceful life. Go to school and get good grades, then graduate at the top of my batch. I would start my own business and expand it day by day, while learning new things and making new friends. Along my journey I would meet someone and I would fall in love. Together we would go through many hardships and have many descendants. Never would I have thought, that the man I fell in love with, my fianc?e, my business partner, the one I trusted the most, would be the one to kill me.

"I told you to watch your back. I told you not to trust every single person you meet. I warned you that if you did not stop 'biggering' your business, someone would take everything from you. I tried stopping you and letting me take over, but you never did. You just kept going and creating bigger and better ideas and it pissed me off! How can you, a woman who came from nothing, be better than ME?!? Well, now that you won't be around I will be number one. Too bad you won't be there to watch me become better than you," Zander, my fianc?e mocked me and ridiculed me as I fell down to my knees, clutching my chest, trying to breathe.

A woman came into the room and locked the door. She walked towards Zander, placed her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately, "Babe, when are we leaving? I'm getting so bored." The woman looked at me with a smirk on her face, which made my blood boil. I knew who this woman was. She was the one that set me up with Zander. The one who pushed me to be with him. My best friend since I was 5 years old. "Adrianna, how could you do this to me," I asked as I painfully crawled away from them towards the couch. I slowly lost my vision and it became harder and harder to breathe.

"C'mon now Mack. You should have known by now how jealous I was. Since we were kids everyone loved you! My parents kept telling me how they wanted me to be more like you! They were bold enough to say how much they wished they had a daughter like you! Every single guy came to me to ask for YOUR number! I was in your shadow and I hated it! But now I can have everything I ever wanted. So just die already, yeah? You don't have any friends or family to give all this to anyway, so just let Zander and I have this," she laughed and walked away towards the door. "I'll be in the car waiting for you babe," she blew him a kiss, looked at me once last time with a sneer on her face, and closed the door.

I watched as Zack picked up the wedding papers and placed it on top of the fireplace. It caught on fire and I watched as he dropped the papers onto the ground and walk away leaving me behind. The fire from the papers caused the carpet to catch on fire. Soon everything everywhere around me was on fire, and all I could do was sit there and wait for my death as I slowly drifted off into the darkness.

"I don't want to die? Give me one more chance? If I were to be reborn I will not trust anyone else but myself and my family? Please? Someone? Help? Me"

'As I sat there in the darkness, all I could think about was the betrayal and hurt I felt?'
