Chapter 9

He is missing

Why can't this be true? I replied to Hannah,

But this is the truth, Hannah replied

"Please bring him back," Hannah replied, tears streaming down her face. "It hurts to see my sister like this. I have to bring him back. I just have to. Mom, Dad can't do anything about this - they don't even care about what their kids are doing. But what's most important is bringing Peter back."

"Don't cry, Hannah. I'll bring Peter back," I replied.

"Okay, please bring Peter back home, Hannah."

(next morning)

I am packing my bags and only need a few things because I'm determined to bring Peter back home safely. I just need to find him first. I told Hannah that I am going, and I reminded her to be a good girl, listen to Mom and Dad, and not to be sad because I will come back. "Okay?" I said to Hannah.

II went to search for Peter and looked everywhere for him. I even showed people his photo, asking if they had seen the boy, but no one recognized him. Eventually, I had to admit defeat and return home, feeling terrible about it. Just then, I heard someone shout "Fire!" and I panicked. it was my house

There's a fire, women shout

There is someone in there

Hannah! I shouted her name. I ran to the house, but I was stopped

L-let me go, my sister is in there, I stuttered

But I was too late, Hannah died

She is dead, no, she's dead, no one helped her, no one did

Mom and Dad are not in the house either. Melissa, no one, just Hannah, was all alone

In there all alone, she was just a kid, but died so young

They will pay, I'll make them pay
