At the beginning of time there was nothing, no tribes, kingdoms, no life or death, just void and one being Moriah, a being of both life and death but it had nothing to share its wonders and wishes with so it took its magic and made two beings, Morella and Neriah, two forces of balance given form, Neriah served as Creation and life itself, while Morella served as destruction and death itself, both the beginning and end of everything and Moriah was happy with this and gave both Neriah and Morella free will, it split it's conscious between the two

The void was silent save for the flapping of wings and the occasional blast of magic
A ball of light and dark collided
"Neriah, why do you keep running?" Morella asked her light counterpart as she clashed with Neriah, Morella was a being with a dark purple coat, dark blue eyes, bone like wings with red line like appendages with glowing symbols on them a long purple tail with fur coming off it going from white to a burning pink, she has light blue sharp claws on the end of her legs that could snap a thread like nothing, she had three horns, two near her ears that protruded up going from purple to faded pink to red, her main unicorn horn was sharp and was the same colors as the two other horns, she had scales running down her chest from which bones could be seen on top of her coat instead of where they should be, her legs were the same as her coat but got brighter as it got closer to the claws
Neriah a being with a bright white coat, she had bright yellow eyes, her wings were made of pure light that shined when she focused on a spell, her mane was medium length with a ponytail going down her side, her mane and tail started white but went down in a gradient to yellow, she wore a white and yellow dress, her hooves went from white to bright yellow to yellow and her horn unlike Morella's was curved
"Morella, we are the only ones in this void, would you really want to eradicate the only other being?" Neriah retorted angered as she put up a shield blocking the blast from her dark counterpart before flying up and diving in a beam of light towards Morella
Morella retaliated by rushing forward in a beam of darkness
The two clashed before separating across from each other and staring at each other, both used the beam around them and channeled it to their horns, the void shined with a dark and light hue, half was purple half was yellow, the two unleashed their charged attacks
When the beams met both light and dark hit equally as hard and they were at a stand still, they poured more magic into it till a huge shockwave erupted with winds that knocked the two of them spinning back uncontrollably before they outstretched their wings allowing them to regain control
They both looked at each other and rushed towards each other were about to fight again when Neriah saw the void around them grow clouds and a blue hue
"Morella Wait, do you see what I'm seeing?" Neriah asked looking around seeing green fields, mountains, the nice sky, a flowing river coming from a gushing waterfall and saw a bright star shining above
The two of them looked in awe before slowly drifting down to the ground they noticed that there was no life, so to counteract this Neriah looked to Morella "Morella, look at all this beauty"
Morella was stunned looking around quickly, had her and Neriah's fight made all this appear but how, yes Neriah was the incarnation of life and creation but she was the incarnation of death and destruction, but all she saw was things thriving nothing seemed to be on its end or already dead, Morella turned back to Neriah
"It's nice yes but there's nothing dead" Morella waved her hoof around in a circle "nothing that shows I was a part of all this" Morella continued putting her hoof down back on the grass and taking a few steps forward and took a second to reflect on what Neriah said 'only ones in this void' she didn't know why that sunk with her so much, after all she was the incarnation of death, why would she care about if anything else was in existence
"Morella?" Neriah waved a hoof in front of the dazed death god who looked like she was staring blankly into the sky, Neriah's head turned to the side slightly "Morella?" she said again this time poking the death god
Morella snapped out of her train of thought as she felt something poke her side "huh, Neriah, what are you doing?" Morella asked turning and backing up slightly
"Getting your attention" Neriah had an innocent smile on her face to add she blinked with puppy eyes almost
"One stop doing that" Morella told bluntly before inhaling and slowly breathing out "I am going to regret this" she muttered under her breath "how about you and I team up to make this place more lively?" Morella reluctantly asked
Neriah took a second to take in the information, was Morella her opposite actual asking to bring life into this new place they made "Gladly, we should probably make something to govern the elements of this world, like fire,water,ice,wind,nature"
"Like more of us?, gods?" Morella asked a bit confused as to what Neriah was implying, they were the only two in existence, and it does get lonely trying to kill the same creature every single minute of every second of eternity
"Exactly like us, well maybe not the whole creation and destruction thing but maybe just their own elements" Neriah chuckled as she lit her horn bringing the elements she listed in front of the two of them and looked at them "So which one first?" she asked cheerfully
Morella looked at the elements with curiosity and touched water making it ripple and saw it go a little darker "let's go with this one first" Morella looked up to her counterpart with a smirk and lit her horn shocking Neriah
Neriah was a bit late to react as she used her magic and put it into the water, nothing happened for a bit as Neriah held the other elements behind her "did it work?"
Morella looked at her counterpart "I'm not sur-" she was interrupted by a loud boom splash
They saw something in the water and watched as it parted to reveal, the first god they ever made, the goddess of water Aquathena, her coat is ocean blue, her horn twisted in a spiral which is split in two giving the illusion there are two horns, she had dragon horns two dark yellow ones curved slightly at the ends, her wings were like water dripping off a surface, her mane and tail was like calm water with small drops of water coming off as she moved, she wore a dark blue robe with a blue amulet near the front and her eyes were the same colors as the sky above
"Did we just create life?" Morella asked baffled, looking with a shocked expression at Neriah who was equally as shocked but was quickly overcome with joy before Morella realized she was grabbed "Neriah what are- ahh" she was thrown up by Neriah
Neriah made it up to her by flying "Morella we did it, we created life, come on let's give the other elements life too!" Neriah bolted to the ground with the other elements
Morella slowly got to the ground, "We should probably make sure that this one isn't evil." Morella then looked at Neriah before giving a flat tone as she rolled her eyes "It would be awful if we had a god who wanted us dead." she waved a wing to Aquathena "I mean look at this one here, her appearance is flawed." she said looking at Aquathena's dragon like horns
"And so are you." Aquathena retorted "You have your bones showing, claws coming out of your very obvious horse hooves and your wings are floating with symbols on them, so excuse me creator for being made by you and the beamy one, in other words, you look like a flash flood with wings, a horn and some misshapen legs."
Morella turned to Neriah who still had a smile on her face "This one has sass, so not evil just moody." Morella said as she trotted over to Aquathena "So you control water?"
Aquathena nodded simply "I do everything from that lake over there." she pointed a hoof to a nearby lake to the side of them before it started raining "To the rain that falls." and a ball of water appears in her hoof as she raises it higher, causing the lake to rage like that of a storm "And finally a raging current." she sent the ball of water into the lake
Neriah was amazed by what her and Morella created and looked at the other elements before turning to Morella with a smirk that said 'let's do it again'
Morella saw this grin "No we are not doing that again, look at the one we created." she stared at Neriah as she pointed a wing to Aquathena once again "Does that look like something to be worshipped and why is she so ehh."
Aquathena was casually playing with a water orb in her hoof before making it disappear "Probably because I have equal magic from you and the beamy one over there, and if you're going to call me moody." she got up and stretched "Look at yourself."
Morella chuckled before saying in a dry tone "So you got jokes huh?" She got right in front of Aquathena
Aquathena pushed her away with her wing causally and ignored Morella's retort trotting to Neriah than the elements "So are these my brothers and sisters?" She asked curiously with a bit of confusion in her voice looking at the fire "And can I put that one out?"
Neriah's eyes went wide before putting her wing in front of the fire element "No, you can't, yes they are and did you ask for brothers and sisters?"
Aquathena still a bit confused "Yes? I did" Aquathena saw Neriah's smile grow and looked back at Morella "Is that a bad thing?"
Morella just stared at Aquathena "You have no clue"
Neriah looked at Morella "Come on let's make some more" as she looked at the elements
Morella looked at her smirking counterpart and sighed "You're not going to let this go are you?"
"Nope, now come on." Neriah beamed bringing over the nature & air elements in her magic and putting them in front of them both and used her magic first
