Derek was a multitalented person. This had advantages and disadvantages for him. He was musical, good at creative writing was a qualified Biologist and Fitness Instructor. He had good IT skills.

He kept himself healthy and fit.

He played two musical instruments.

He never had his head out of a Science

book. He occasionally wrote stories.

He used his IT skills to track his income and expenditure.

He loved going for walks in nature. It combined fitness training and Biology and he loved that. He played the Piano and Flute in his spare time along with reading adventure books.

One day he visited a bookshop and gallery. He walked into the gallery first and was impressed by what he saw. He bought one of the posters on sale. He then walked into the bookshop next door and started browsing the Art section.

He decides to buy a drawing book just sas a pastime. To let him unwind after work. That evening he started to dabble and surprised himself. He was creating pieces that he never knew were in him.

He left it aside for a while and started playing his musical instruments. He thought it would give him something extra to keep going with anything in life. He was right. Something sparked in him to go back to the pieces he had created and review them so that he would be happy with them. He did so, and looked at it and was happy with what he saw and left it at that.

The next day he received a call from a gallery looking for unknown work to show in the Gallery. He agreed, but asked if they could pay him a once off fee for the pieces. They agreed to do that.
