Dr. Beverly Scott is used to treating patients with bizarre neurological conditions, but when a woman is admitted seeing distorted, monstrous figures, she assumes it’s a rare case of Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. But as the patient’s perception grows worse, Beverly begins seeing them too—the warped limbs, the stretching faces, the beings hiding inside human skin. At first, she thought her patient was hallucinating. Now, she realizes she was the blind one all along.
