One dark night, the Dunho family was on their way home in the woods. On their way home, there was a huge broken tree blocking the road. The father and mother checked the broken tree, and they realized that it was no accident but was done on purpose. Then they heard that their tires were shot, and then a man wearing a mask suddenly appeared in front of their car and both shot the mother and father and buried them in the woods. He wasn't able to hide the car because there were other cars on the way. The man didn't know there was a kid sleeping in the back seat.

After almost an hour, the boy woke up and couldn't see his parents because there were no lights. As he panicked, he shouted, calling his parents, and tears were slowly falling. Two hours passed, and there was still no clue where his parents were. Then he noticed a small light far away, and he had no choice but to follow the light. As he walked towards the light, he was also starving and thirsty. He then arrived in the city and asked for help, but the people were only ignoring him. He was really hungry, and he had no other choice but to look for food in the trash. As he slowly swallowed the food in the trash, his stomach was hurting more because the food he ate had already expired. It didn't take long enough for him to faint. After that, a man took him and brought him to his house. Later on, he woke up, and the man came to the room, holding some medicine and food for him.

After eating and taking the medicine, the man asked the boy what had happened to him and also told the boy he was a detective, and the boy was confused; he couldn't remember a single thing that happened to him. The man took some clothes for the boy, and when the boy asked the man if he had a son, the man told the boy that it was his niece's clothes. The man was worried about the boy, so he planned to take him to the hospital for a checkup.

The next day, the man took the boy for a checkup. The doctor said that the boy had amnesia. They went home after the checkup, and he then asked the boy again if he remembered anything, but still the boy doesn't remember a thing. After that, the man was about to wash the boy's clothes when he found a small notebook in the boy's shorts, and the boy's name was written on it. He rushed to the boy and told him his name. The boy's name is Kevin, and the man also told Kevin his name is Jarper.

After a few months, Jarper decided to adopt Kevin, and Kevin started to see Jasper as his father. Kevin only studied at home because Jarper didn't want Kevin to go to school because they live in a city full of crimes. Kevin was as wise as Jarper. Kevin would help Jasper solve crimes.

Kevin grew up into a teenager, and as he grew, he started to have a really painful headache. He called Jarper to buy some medicine on the way. Kevin took a nap, and when he woke up, the pain was gone. After that, he watched the news on TV, which was about a couple buried in the woods, and it said that the crime happened a long time ago. After watching the news, Kevin's headache came back, and he started to see a glimpse of his past. He was very confused.

At night, Kevin took Jasper's ride and went into the woods. As he arrived, little by little, he started to remember his past, and he was very sad. When he went back home, he saw Jarper crying and holding some pictures of him. Kevin went inside their house and asked Jarper why he was crying. Jarper gave the pictures to him; the kid in the picture looks exactly like Kevin, but they weren't actually Kevin's pictures. Jarper told Kevin that was his son. Kevin asked him what happened, and Jarper said that his son was shot outside their house. The reason Jarper didn't let Kevin go to school was because of his son's death.

The next day, Kevin didn't tell Jarper that his memories had returned. 8:00 a.m.: Kevin and Jarper were about to eat breakfast. Kevin asked Jarper if he heard the news yesterday. Jarper said yes loudly. Later on, Jarper said he was sorry for shouting at him.

It's been almost a week since Jarper has avoided talking to Kevin. Kevin noticed that Jarper had been avoiding talking to him. Kevin started observing Jarper because Jarper has been acting weird lately.

At night, Jarper went to the club with his best friend. Kevin noticed and followed them quickly. When they arrived, Jarper was saying something to his best friend. Kevin overheard them, and he was very shocked by what he heard. Kevin went home, went wild, and was destroying the things inside their house. As he was raging, he accidentally hurt his hand, and it was bleeding.

Jarper went home and noticed their window was broken. He rushed inside and found some blood. He shouted Kevin's name, but there was no response. The lights suddenly went out, and Jarper only had to use a lighter. After half an hour of looking for Kevin, Jarper heard a gun being loaded. He panicked and tried to hide, but he was already shot in the back and accidentally lost grip of the lighter, which went near the curtain. As the fire got bigger, he started to see the place more clearly, but his vision was a bit blurry. When he slowly looked back, he was shocked because the one who shot him was Kevin. Kevin was crying and bleeding a lot. Kevin asked Jarper why he killed his parents. Jarper was confused but then realized that the couple he killed back then were actually Kevin's parents. Jarper explained why he killed Kevin's parents. The ones who shot Jarper's son were Kevin's parents. Jarper said that Kevin's parents were criminals who committed robbery and murder. Jarper didn't have much time because he was losing a lot of blood. He then quickly apologized to Kevin, hugged him, and passed away.

Kevin cried more; he felt guilty and ashamed because he wasn't able to control his emotions. He didn't know what to do anymore. It didn't take long; the fire was everywhere in the house. There was no way out; he sat beside his father, said he was sorry for being clueless, and decided to burn with his father.
