From the small-town fields of Shalimar, Florida, to the competitive grind of Central Georgia Technical College, Freddy Pinder’s journey is a story of grit, faith, and unshakable determination.
Raised on early mornings, game-day rituals, and the sweet tang of sour Skittles before kickoff, Freddy learned young that success requires more than talent—it demands sacrifice. Playing both Defensive Line and Offensive Line, he became the protector on the field, always guarding his cousin and giving his all on every down. Football became more than a sport; it was the outlet that helped him channel his ODD and ADHD into focus, discipline, and leadership.
The road wasn’t easy. Moving to Georgia in his ninth-grade year meant leaving friends and familiarity behind. A devastating ankle injury in tenth grade tested his resilience, forcing him into surgery and a long recovery. But Freddy came back stronger—mentally, physically, and spiritually—ready to take on the world.
Now, as he begins his college career, Freddy is chasing his NFL dreams while earning a business degree with plans to become a real estate agent. His story is a testament to the power of hard work, God’s guidance, and a mother’s unwavering belief in her son.
