As you step outside, the only thing you can hear is the rain hitting the ground. It's peaceful, the rain is hitting the ground not to hard, but also not to soft, it is the perfect sound of rainfall in your ears. A combiation of rain sounds and the smell of the wet ground swirls around you as you open your umbrella and begin your walk in the rain.

As you are walking you stumble across a little boy, who is standing in the rain but looking down. As you take a better look you notice the boy has no shoes, old baggy clothes, and a small backback. Your heart sinks in as you relaize what is in front of you, a homeless little boy. You want to help him but you have nothing on you... wait you do. Your umbrella, however you are hesitant since tis is the only thing protecting you form the rain... and your thoughts. Selfishness starts to kick in... you NEED this umbrella, however another part of you is saying... give it to him, he needs it more then you do. Your good and bad side start to fight in your head, like a devil and angel sitting on each sholder wispering in both of your ears at the same time trying to make a point. Finally, you agree with your good side and give the boy your umbrella. You give him a soft smile, but he never looks up.

The rain is coming down harder yet you are at the end of your walk... and you stop all of a sudden, in the rain soaking wet. Why are you standing there? Well... you are standing there thinking. Thinking about life, the choices you maade thoroughout your life, and what you are going through currently. Then you collapse at your feet, with the rain dripping down your face, if the real tears flowing down your face wasn't falling hard enough. You feel like you hit rock bottom... but you remember something. Something simple yet powerful that can help you get up, your own two feet. You stand back up feeling like you won the race, but most importantly you realize life will be okay when you have faith in God and your own two feet.

Remembering all that, you head back home, you now know how valuable your life truly is. Your at peace of mind knowing your life will get better, no matter how hard the rain comes pouring down.
