This is the story of a Grandmother named Jenny(Jennifer) who is waiting for her son(Alan) and daughter-in-law (Josepha) for the Christmas gathering.

Jenny is busy baking Christmas cake, on the other hand, she has prepared steak and chicken pie as Alan and Josepha will arrive before Christmas midnight.

She was very sad that her grandson Jeffrey(Jeff) and his fiancee Rebecca(Becky) promised to meet on Easter and never turned up until now.

As she was keeping the wine glasses and Alsatian wine on the table suddenly the bell rang.

She opened the door, then she was surprised to see Jeff and Becky that her hard feelings for them subsided then and there.

Jenny played her usual Christmas carol songs then they played rummy cards as there were 2 hrs for Alan and Josepha to arrive.

Even though they were chatting she asked them why didn't they fulfill the promise to meet her during Easter.

Jeff and Becky asked why don't have dinner as his parents will arrive at midnight.

Then Jeff and Becky were so tired that they went to sleep even Jenny thought of waking them up once Alan and Josepha arrives.

Jenny was passionate about Christmas movies so she played her old favorite movie It's a wonderful life.

Even she dropped to sleep.

Later on, she heard the bell ringing and woke up.

By the time the movie got over, she got up and open the door it was none Alan and Josepha.

She asked them to come in and then called Jeff and Becky.

Alan and Josepha were surprised to hear that she was looking for them.

Alan asked Mom why are you playing such a prank at midnight we are hungry and tired.

Then Jenny asked why are you speaking so awkwardly, At that moment Alan told that Jeff and Becky passed away 8 months back in a plane crash on their return flight from Cape Town to Newyork.

Jenny was in a state of shock hearing this from Alan she rushed to the bedroom where Jeff and Becky went to take a rest and didn't find them.

On her way downstairs she saw 1 bottle of Alsatian wine,2 pieces of cake, 2 pieces of steak, and half of the chicken pie gone missing.

At that moment she realized that it was Jeff and Becky's ghosts who came to fulfill their last wish which they fail to fulfill during Easter...
