In the far away world, I saw a strange looking man. He surely had limbs just like you and me; He apparently, seemed grown up and Young. He had a Fierce and sharp falling Beard with a beautifully curled moustache. But what was so strange about him you may wonder?. Well, nothing. He was just like any other man out there and that's what it seems to us , you and me. The strangeness originated from his 'Common' looks. 'Common' man, sure he was, but the same alikeness is the one which blankets his struggles and battles within; the happiness and sadness; the victory and failure. It surely seemed his battle but it was his battle. No one asked him to continue fighting, none asked him to become what he is now, "A Common Man". This Common has also a story about himself.

He was born one day to a totally normal and extremely loving family. Though they didn't have a fortune for him but they gave every last bit of there love. They loved him as much as they could with the limits of discipline and strictness. Which to be honest are required by a parent. They also gave birth to her, his sister. They also tried loving her the same as him and raised both of them with equal amounts of love, or that's what they thought. After her sister, was born he was given less attention and somehow it was his first time growing up and learning that the world didn't share all its love equally. Though, he never hated his sister but he surely felt alone and left out at least for a while. Then, the time came now he had to grow up and go to a school while they are busy doing work and raising their little girl.

He was grown, a little grown now. He was sent to a school and for the first time he had to wear these odd uniforms but his mind was so childish, just like us when we were kids, that he didn't seem to care. He was driven to a huge school. He didn't know what was going on and neither did he care because all he cared was the scenery outside the car. The gleaming green of the trees, shining puddles of water, the walking man, the mother, ther father, white and black coloured cars, the scattered light from the smoke. ALl he cared was this. Then the car stopped, still not knowing what was going on, they asked him to behave and they said a rather loving goodbye too him. A woman in green stood with him. The car ignited and started to move, he felt left out again, he felt like his parents are going to leave him. Tears flushed his face wet and made him run to the car. The lady from behind, grabbed him and wiped his tears, she kneeled down and showed him the way in the huge building. His Face still wet and mind still worried he reluctantly walked inside. The lady made him sit down with the children just his age.

The lady asked all the children to open a book. He couldn't understand what was going on, but looking at so many children doing as asked he followed. The book seemed weird, the lady seemed weird, the children seemed fine. Soon, after The lady said something and children followed. He too followed, his face now not so frightened, started to smile and small indistinguishable laughter was present everywhere. He laughed, The lady laughed, The Children laughed. And soon he grew up.

He was a little older, They Turned into The Mother-father, The lady turned to a teacher, The children turned to students and some students and him became friends. She turned into 'Marla', Now, there was no competition and sadness for love between him and 'Marla'. Marla, now able to walk and talk. Adored her older brother. She always used to wait for him to come home and play with her. She showed love to him and he showed love to her, they played with her favourite toys every single day. It got to a point where Marla had to be separated from her brother from going to school. Some students used to meet with him and run with him and talk with him and used to play games with him. They used to sit together and the teacher always had to separate them. The teachers became a little more strict now, they wanted silence and demanded punishments if anyone broke it. They demanded their notebooks and they demanded their marks. He wasn't able to understand that some numbers hold great interest in his life. He wasn't able to understand why the teacher separated his friends and him. He was a little annoyed. Days passed and teacher were even strict now, Mother and Father forced him to sit down and complete his homework, he didn't understand why but if their wills were not fulfilled then punishments was only the option.

He grew even more now, able to read write, able add and multiply and even divide if necessary. He now was scared from the Huge Building all the comfort he could find was in his friends and in Marla, He learnt their names and it went like this, Steve, Stella, Shawn and Marlo. These five friends were inseparable. Always together and always laughing together, looking back in those days, The common man had a sense of Nostalgia, In the present he looked old but always longed for the simple and youthful days of his childhood. Whenever he was thinking about his past he always remembered his four friends. He wasn't sure why because "The Common Man" when growing up seemed to loose his friends. How?, We don't know neither does he. It just happened. The common man went back in his memories.

He was lot more older now, realisation struck when his Father-Mother became just like him, He realised that Father Mother were just people like him and The teacher was a person just like any other person, Friends grew apart and some grew closer. Marla, was his best friend now, and the days with toys and laughter were gone. Marla, had her own friends and her own life now. She went to school and came Home with her friends. He roamed the streets with his close friends now. He roamed around with faint smile on his face. The Huge building turned to school and he somewhat enjoyed learning in the school, maybe because he realised that the teacher was just a person and not scary as his past said.

He grew even more now, grown enough to be called a adult but also young enough to be called a child. Though, none called him a child now, they simply called him by his name. Life got lot more difficult now, the growing body and the few friends he had shrank down even more. Marla, was old enough to do things on her own, was old enough to go out with her friends. Marla, was still a friend of his brother. But, i wouldn't know why they grew apart, Neither does he. He had work to do and a life to build, everything was uncertain everything was strange again. His Parents were not there to tell him what is right and what is wrong. His teachers didn't care to wipe the tears of his face and he didn't cry at all. Something Changed though very gradually but they surely did change. He realised he had to live the rest of his life on his own term. Now, he had to start finding a partner or someone to love. He longed for love.

He Grew up even more and resembled the present him, but a little more younger. He was now living on his own working to feed his stomach and earning enough to pay rent. Now, he was truly independent. His knowledge was immeasurable and huge now. He was attracted to Woman. whether destiny had a role in it or not you decide but he found love in someone. He loved her , she loved her , time passed by and there was a time when she had to leave him behind, who knows what happened but it left him broken. He didn't go to work for a while, he didn't eat much and just sat alone. Time passed by the savings ran out and the food disappeared, bills stacked up in his Mail. Though didn't want to work he still had to go, afterall his parents were not there to back him up. Marla, grew up and went far away and lived on her own with her own life. His parents still alive were now waiting to get retired and stay back in their village cottage for their rest of the life. He was truly on his own. No One to guide him, Noone to tell him what is right and what is wrong.

The story goes on and on. The Common man still has a life ahead but it seemed to be stagnant now. He seemed to be upset and he seemed lonely. But he will find someone to love just like always. But, he is still young will surely find his love.

There are a lot of struggles that i didn't discuss but maybe  we can understand.
